Startified was created using the Orakle sound sculpture from MNTRA Instruments. It was improvised using a patch that contains bass drum, repinique drum, frame drum and clapping stick samples played through an arpeggiator. Most of the contrast for the piece comes from the number of notes used. Each additional note is like a layer stratified upon the others.
