Toy Box

Toy Box is a musical portrayal of a child discovering an old box of toys in a dusty attic. The child picks one toy and plays with it at length before dumping out the entire box. He is almost overwhelmed with choices. Some of the toys are broken, their springs and metallic gears worn with age, but they capture the child’s imagination anyway. Eventually he returns to the first toy. Not able to let it go, he places it in his pocket and exits the attic, leaving behind a large mess.
